Summary

NewSouth Window is looking for a Regional Events Coordinator to join our team. The REC is responsible for setting, staffing and training for all the shows and events in the region. The daily processes will include but are not limited to finding and signing up for shows and events. Hiring and training a team of lead setters, ensuring staffing at all events and setting qualified appointments to budget.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

  • Minimum 5+ years of B2B sales experience within or industry 

  • 4 year college degree strongly preferred  

  • Successful track record of growing a region and sales.  

  • Ability and track record of developing and executing a sales plan to reach target accounts  

  • Innovative problem solver; recognizing customer needs, providing alternatives and selling and implementing alternative solutions  

  • Strong presentation skills Proven work experience as a Regional Sales Manager, Area Manager or similar senior sales role 

  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs) 

  • Familiarity with CRM software 

  • Understanding business operations 

  • Ability to lead and motivate a high performance sales team 

  • Perform SWOT on team to help identify areas of opportunity and growth 

  • Excellent communication skills 

  • Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude 

  • Availability to travel as needed 

  • BS degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field experience 

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.  Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.  Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. 

 

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS 

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. 

  

REASONING ABILITY 

Ability to make sound decisions with limited supervision 

Ability to deal effectively with diverse types of people

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS 

Ability to travel frequently, including overnight travel.  

Ability to travel frequently to PGT/Windoor, CGI, ECO-Commercial (CGIC), and ECO locations as needed. 

 

*Occasional: Activity exists less than 1/3 of the time. 

*Frequent:  Activity exists 1/3 and 2/3 of the time.
